Homestead is a personal farm-management app built by Mike Wesley (Cross Timbers Homestead) for his own use on his own farm. Access is shared informally with friends, family, and a small group of testers. It is not a commercial product, a SaaS offering, or a supported service.

No warranties, no guarantees

The app is provided as-is and as-available, with no warranties of any kind — express or implied. There is no uptime guarantee, no service-level commitment, and no promise that the app will be free of bugs, errors, or interruptions. The owner accepts no liability for any loss, damage, or inconvenience arising from your use of the app.

Data handling

Your data is stored using reasonable security practices on a private server, but this app is nota HIPAA-compliant, SOC 2-certified, or enterprise-grade product. Don't store anything here that you couldn't live with being lost or exposed.

Your records are private to your household. They are not shared with other users or sold to third parties. The owner (Mike) may access the underlying system, database, and logs as needed for maintenance, debugging, backups, and migrations.

Use at your own risk

Data could be lost or corrupted due to bugs, failed migrations, hardware failure, or operator error. For anything critical — medical records, financial figures, breeding history, legal paperwork — please keep your own copies elsewhere. Treat this app as a convenience, not a system of record.
