The service

EveryHomestead is a farm/homestead record-keeping and planning app. We may add, change, or remove features over time.

Your data is yours

You own the records you put into the app. We don't sell them, and you can export your data at any time. We process your data only to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• break the law, infringe others' rights, or upload malicious content;
• attempt to access other households' data or otherwise probe/attack the service;
• scrape, overload, or abuse the app or its APIs; or
• resell or sublicense the service without permission.

You're responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your login secure.

Plans, trials & billing

The app offers a free tier and optional paid features. New accounts may receive a time-limited free trial of paid features; when a trial ends, the household returns to the free tier — your data stays and remains exportable; only the premium tools are limited.

If and when paid plans are offered, they are billed through our payment processor on a recurring basis until cancelled. You can cancel anytime; access continues through the period you've paid for. Except where required by law, fees already paid are non-refundable. Prices may change with notice.

Founding members:founding-member subscriptions ($49/year, offered to the first 100 subscribing households) are price-locked for the life of the subscription — as long as it stays active, that price will never go up. Pricing for other plans may change with at least 30 days' notice.

No professional advice

Plant, animal, agronomic, veterinary, financial, and other content in the app (including the plant database and any suggestions) is for general informational purposes only and is not professional advice. Verify anything important with a qualified professional before acting on it.

Animal medical records & withdrawal periods

Withdrawal dates, dosages, and treatment records in the app are records you provide — the app stores what you enter. It never computes, checks, or validates withdrawal periods, dosages, or food-safety rules. You are solely responsible for verifying withdrawal periods and food safety with your veterinarian and applicable regulators before consuming or selling milk, eggs, meat, or any other animal product.

Weather data

Weather data, frost indicators, and forecasts in the app are estimates from your own weather station or third-party APIs. They can be wrong, stale, or missing. Don't rely on them for safety-critical or crop-critical decisions — verify with official forecasts and warnings (e.g. the National Weather Service).

Finance & tax features

The finance and ledger features organize your records and produce estimates and summaries for review by your tax professional. Nothing in the app is tax, legal, or accounting advice, and the app never files anything on your behalf. Confirm figures, categories, and deductions with a CPA or tax professional before filing.

As-is, no warranties

The app is provided as-is and as-available, without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee uptime, accuracy, or that the app will be error-free. Keep your own copies of anything critical.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost data, profits, or livestock/crop losses, arising from your use of the app. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Termination

You can stop using the app and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms or to protect the service. You can export your data before leaving.

Governing law & contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. We may update these terms; material changes will be noted here with a new date. Questions: [email protected].
